Hooray it’s Friday!
Valentine’s Day may not always be the most admired holiday, but if you take the leap to treat yo self you can turn it into a personal mind, body, and spirit healing day.
1. Book yourself in for a treatment

It’s mid-week, so it might not be the best time to go for a spa treatment. But that doesn’t mean you can’t book yourself in for something. I’ve been doing Infrared Sauna body wrap treatments recently. Unlike a traditional sauna, infrared saunas don’t heat the air around you. Instead, they use infrared lamps (that use electromagnetic radiation) to warm your body directly. But the way you’ll look and feel after it’s all over is definitely worth it. Not only do athletes swear by them, but the treatments are are supposed to help boost your metabolism, promote weight loss, and give your circulation a boost. Your skin will look and feel better, and you’ll even get a better night’s rest!
2. Buy yourself a new book

3. Create a bath fit for a queen
Cleopatra famously loved to bathe in milk. If anyone deserves to bathe like a queen, it’s you. So don’t just throw in any old bubble bath, set yourself up for the best bath you’ve ever had. Every inch of you deserves a pamper, so start from the top and work your way down. My favorite is Epsom salt with baking soda. Then I throw in some rose petals for extra eye candy.
4. Write a letter to your future self
This is your chance to really think about what you want for yourself from the future, and the questions you’d want to ask yourself. Tuck the letter away. Then in the future pull it out, rest assured a nice surprise will remind you of where you were and how far you’ve come.
5. Start a journal
Yes, now’s the perfect time to write in a journal. Most successful people do this every day, not only to compile your future memoir (hello bestseller!) but to help you process the things that happen every day. Once you start doing that, your inner critic will feel silenced. You’ll have moaned about everything you need to moan about on paper and can focus on a happy, positive life.
6. Spread the love around
Give yourself a Valentine’s Day dopamine boost by picking up the phone and calling a best friend, grandparents, or your parents. Ask them what they’re up to and give them a boost of love. You can make someone’s day just by remembering them and reaching out.
