The countdown to summer travel has begun because our summer’s last as long as your nail polish.
Martha’s Vinyard is one of my top faves to travel in the summer because its lively, sporty and full of family fun. It’s a place that offers many activities for all.
In its 100 square miles, Martha’s Vineyard has six towns, (Aquinnah, Menemsha, Chillmark, Chappaquiddick, Edgartown, Bluffs, Oak Bluffs, Haven, Vinyard Haven, Tisbury, West Tisbury) each with its own proud history and unique character.
Here’s a heat map to all the fabulous spots you don’t want to miss:
The Winnetu Oceanside Resort is a gorgeous hotel if you want a resort feel. It overlooks the ocean, so you are guaranteed to see sunrise and sunset from the hotel’s deck, or your room.

The Outermost Inn Restaurant in the hotel is so divine to dine as it sits on top of a cliff. Make sure you book in advance. This place is always hard to get into during the summer, especially on the weekends.

New England is known for their delicious and fresh seafood, so the Lobster Roll is very popular sandwich to order. There’s a plethora of casual restaurants that claim they have the best Lobster Roll, but I found that the The Seafood Shanty delivered on that promise.

Mad Martha’s Ice Cream is the jam for a sweet tooth craving. Many political figure sightings at this spot as well.

For a chic with a casual flair have dinner at the The Beach Plum Inn

For a spiffy afternoon, or frolic evening of dancing head over to The Atlantic It’s festive and jam packed on the weekends.

There’s more places to post, but I wanted to give you a handful for today’s blog.
Happy thirsty Thursday!
