Prep your skin for Spring

Happy pre-Valentines Day! ♥️

I’m publishing this last post before my flight.

A new season is upon us even though the weather has been torturing us one week then teasing us with warm spring temps the next.

It’s essential to prep our skin as the season change, which can also bring about changes to your skin’s overall health and appearance. The environmental shift significantly impacts those that have common skin issues including psoriasis, eczema, acne or rosacea.

Here’s what I am using to prep my skin for spring to avoid any issues:

Himalayan Pink Salt 2-in-1 Foaming Bath Soak & Body Wash $13.81

I have been using Jason’s products for the last 27 years. I discovered them at Whole Foods. The new Himalayan Pink Salt 2-in1 Foaming Bath Soak and Body Wash is light and foamy. The fresh scent is a significant mood changer.

The formula features the body-healing Himalayan Pink Salt. Rich in soothing Magnesium, hydrating Potassium, and pH-balanced Calcium, it promotes relaxation and de-stresses any tensions that may come your way. I especially love these skin food ingredients of lavender, clary sage, and bergamot.

Pink Himalayan salt contains minerals that are also important for maintaining skin health. These include Zinc, Chromium, Sulfur, and Iodine. Additionally, pink Himalayan salt works effectively in drawing out toxins in the skin, thus helping to ease and treat specific issues of the skin such as psoriasis, acne, and even insect bites and dry skin.

Vitamin E Oil $5.97

The rich Vitamin E and Avocado oils make my skin much softer and more supple. I add a couple of drops to my moisturizer, which helps during winter, but will be most beneficial in the spring as I notice some hyperpigmentation on some areas of my skin.

Soft Rose Dry Spray Deodorant $8.61

This clinically tested 24-hour protection and aluminum free deodorant showed some grit during my 10 hour Fashion Week rounds. The gentle mist makes it easy for application. I especially like that it does not stain my clothing.

These affordable and natural products are an easy way to spring your skin forward.

Sending beauty vibes! 💋

I want to include an oil to my skincare regime, I was thinking of vitamin E, in the morning to hydrate my skin. Would you recommend any oil for uneven skin tone?

Amazing… my skin is very temperamental; the only oil that works for me is tea tree for the face, and pure Argan for the rest of the body. But I usually add a few drops of pure Vitamin E essential oil to the Argan. Works great!
