Happy Tuesday!
Hope you are crushing your New Year’s resolutions!
I often get asked by my single friends how to tell a man you are not interested. My response is always the same, “do it in person, not a text. ” Sending a text is like writing it on a post-it note and leaving it on their kitchen counter.
A man’s ego is fragile, so it’s good to remember the golden rule—treat others the way you’d like to be treated. It’s not nice to leave a person hanging because you’re afraid to say you’re not interested.
Follow these simple ways to tell a man you are not interested:
I thought I was over my ex, but I am not ready to date yet.
Honesty is the best policy, but if you don’t have any chemistry with the person, or if you are repelled by them in any way the ex-boyfriend reason is always a good one.
You seem like a fantastic guy, but we are not on the same level of energy, or vibrational field.
Yes, this sounds very hippy, dippy esoteric, and spiritual, but nothing feels better than being free of someone you don’t want to be with long term.
I thought I was ready to date, but there are some areas in my life I would like to grow and mature, so I can be a better partner.
This is short and simple. No added flair is needed after you say it.
We are not at the same place in life where a relationship will flourish.
The most direct way of letting a guy go
Due to unanticipated events, I am not emotionally ready to be in a relationship.
I was told once by my therapist that you can lie for love. This is a lie because you love yourself.
You are an amazing person, but I need someone in my life that matches my goals.
This is a big one if you want to be married and have children.
Another thing to keep in mind is compassion. This man is putting himself out there and being vulnerable, and that‘s a courageous thing to do.
Be honest. Be kind. You may be surprised how much people appreciate it, and how better you feel.

I am more attracted by that dress the woman is wearing in the photo – it looks like a really nice dress. Any idea where I might be able to buy it?
