My bikini shaving hack to avoid irritation

Bikini season is upon us, which means we want to make sure our bikini area is on point.

I am not brave enough to book a Brazilian Wax as I prefer to shave in the privacy of my apartment.

After playing around with some products, I discovered that my fiance’s Art of Shaving Products not only helped relieve the aftershave itch, but the products also eliminated razor bumps, and after shave irritation.

I know these products are for men, but the bikini area does not know the difference. 🤫

Check out these easy tricks:

I use Venus Embrace Razor $9.37. It is an all-in-one shave set that includes a razor handle and two refills, so you always have an extra blade on hand. With five blades and two gel strips, this razor ensures a closer shave with less irritation, even on ultra sensitive skin.

The Art of Shaving Pre Shave Oil $25.00 I prep my skin by applying The Art of Shaving Pre Shave Oil. A Pre-shave oil is a necessary first step for a close, nick-free shave. The Art of Shaving Pre-Shave Oil blends multiple skin-conditioning oils which act as a protective barrier, softening hair and improving razor glide. This formula prepares your skin for a luxury shaving experience without irritation and is perfect for sensitive skin. It’s also ideal for eliminating ingrown hair and razor burn. The formula leaves out irritating ingredients like artificial colors and alcohol, so it’s suitable for the bikini area.

The Art of Shaving Cream Unscented $25.00 This unique shaving cream with botanical ingredients softens and lifts the hairs for a close and comfortable shave. It creates a rich, warm, protective lather that acts as a cushion between the blade and the skin, preventing irritation, razor burn, and pesky ingrown hairs.

The Art of Shaving After Shave Balm $38.82 Once I step out of the shower, I apply the After Shave Balm. It refreshes and hydrates your bikini area as well as soothes the skin after shaving. The shea butter and a touch of grape seed extract moisturize your skin leaving it velvety and silky smooth. It is antiseptic and has no alcohol, so there is no burning.

Sending smooth bikini season vibes! 💋

I recently started getting ingrown hair, never used to have that problem. It is so annoying, really don’t know what to do. Also it looks so ugly, ewww. Need to find solution, unfortunately these are not available here, so it will be hard to get my hands on them. xx
