Tech Day Sunday – Free Beauty Apps to get you ready for Spring 🌸

There are apps for everything, but for those of us that are “all things beauty obsessed” we can never get enough.

Here are few apps to take your beauty game to the next level to get you ready for spring:

Hair Journal

This app keeps your tresses in check by setting personal goals, reminders, track your growth through pictures and diary entries as well as log in your own personal reviews of your hair products.  You can watch the best haircare related YouTube videos directly from the app.  Available for iPhone and Android – free

This is a one-stop beauty app that allows you to find inspiration beauty looks, DIY all natural beauty along with beauty products for every skincare need under one roof.  You can spend hours browsing just for fun.  If you are a makeup, or beauty blogger you can easily gain more followers by linking your social media accounts.  Available for iPhone and iPad only – free

Plum Perfect

Ever wonder how you should choose the right makeup shade?  Worry no more with this clever app.  Once you’ve uploaded a photo, you’ll get a list of beauty-product suggestions for your skin tone, eye, and lip colors.  You can also tailor your look for Glam, or office.  Available for iPhone and Android – free

If you spend hours walking the Ulta, or Sephora aisles in confusion, then you need Visada.  This app presents you with makeup and skin-care suggestions based on a photo you upload.  The app will analyze your fine lines and dark spots. From there you’ll get specific skin care recommendations. You can also get makeup recommendations based on your skin and eye color. Shop directly on your phone, so you can avoid the temptation of going in the drugstore and bingeing.  Available for iPhone and Android – free

Cruelty free by Leaping Bunny

Unfortunately not all beauty products are cruelty free.  However, the Leaping Bunny app only lists products that haven’t been tested on animals. There is a comprehensive list of brands you can trust, and you can shop for anything from nail polish, dish detergents to fragrances.  The Cruelty-Free app also lets users scan a product’s barcode to instantly know whether the brand is certified by Leaping Bunny.  Available for iPhone and Android

That’s all for today’s post!

Sending relaxing beauty vibes!
