All you need to know about Cuffing

It’s Friday in the fall, and for those of you that are single, its Cuffing season!

Cuffing is a dating term that occurs in the Fall and Winter months. According to the Urban dictionary: people who would normally rather be single or promiscuous find themselves along with the rest of the world desiring to be “Cuffed” or tied down by a serious relationship. The cold weather and prolonged indoor activity causes singles to become lonely and desperate to be cuffed.

This trend is fueled by the earth’s positioning to the sun and accounts for those kinds of relationships you won’t necessarily be interested in keeping when summer rolls along.

Upon the first drop of snow, you can be in the arms of a man, woman, or (whichever floats your boat) toasty and warm as supposed to roaming the mean cold streets looking for the “one and only” in all the wrong places.

There is a certain romance to this theory when you are courted properly. Men and women typically in the northeast crave the interaction of the opposite sex because it can get boring once you binge watched the last season of Narcos on Netflix, or every romantic comedy. Then there are your single girlfriends that have packed work and life schedules.

Lastly, fall and winter allow couples the opportunity to bond on an intimate level without many distractions. It is the perfect time to have some indoor fun.

Sending 💖 vibes! 💋
