Non controversial topics to discuss this Thanksgiving

Every year in America, families get together for Thanksgiving.

It’s a running joke that every family has a crazy uncle, an alcoholic aunt, eccentric cousins, or siblings that drive you to drink.

Some families are deeply divided due to our political climate; therefore, I wanted to give you a list of non controversial topics to discuss so that you can enjoy your meal and survive this week’s Thanksgiving dinner.Β Β

Tesla’s New Vehicles

Telsa’s new electric truck that bombed last week. Also, the Roadster 2 scheduled to be released sometime in 2020. Don’t forget to mention that Elon is charging a full $250,000 deposit if you want one of the first 1,000 units that come off the line. 😳

Share with people how thankful you are to have them in your life

I know this may be a hard one for some of you but dig deep into your heart to find something positive as it will do wonders for your brain.

Tell People The Good Things You Think About Them

It could be the last Thanksgiving you spend with someone around the table. Take a moment and talk about things that matter, not the mindless back and forth chit chat. Tell them the good qualities they possess. Everyone has excellent qualities, but most people never hear about them. Most people only hear the negative feedback. It makes them feel good, they smile, makes you smile, and the positive energy keeps flowing back and forth all night.

Thankfulness

Ask each person around the table to share what are they thankful for on Thanksgiving. It will create a sense of peace and calmness. If your family is shy, or most of them are introverts, have them write it down on a piece of paper. During dessert, someone can read it out loud.

For parents to ask kids (of all ages), or adults

If you could only eat three things for the rest of your life, what would they be?

If you were an animal, what would you be and why?

Share your favorite Netflix show to binge

I love discovering new shows from my friends. This one is always an excellent way to start a conversation around the table that will surely leave you with a list of bing-worthy shows to watch.

Now you’re equipped with more than just Thanksgiving appetizers, dinner, and desserts so that the meal will be as delightful as the photos on Instagram make it seem.

Please note, I will be taking a blogcation for the rest of the week!

Happy Thanksgiving! πŸ’‹Β
