Can you believe we are shy away from 2020?
As shocking as it may sound, it’s never too late to crush your goals even if you broke your New Year’s Resolution.
Here’s how:
Today – Decide what you want right now
So which of your goals are your highest priority? What is it that you want to achieve in the next six months of the year? List wins of the year so far that you are proud of as this will keep you from getting bummed if you have failed on other goals. Do you need to refocus and decide what you really want? Is your goal attainable? Write your thoughts in a journal with end dates.
Next Week – Disrupt and edit your routine
Take a close look at your daily routine. Look for blind spots like wasting too much time on social media, which can change your mood, binging on Netflix, or mindless reality shows. (I am so guilty of all these things, but my saving grace is that I am a night owl, so I get stuff done when it’s quiet).
The key is tracking your daily routine. Your closet, apartment, or house will not organize itself if you are spending endless hours, or 30 minutes on social media watching videos that don’t add value to your life except for Ingrid Madison Ave stories, which I always add value of unique places, art, or new cool products to try.
You do need downtime to switch off your brain and stare at funny videos of pets for a while. Perhaps, you can schedule that for the weekend? Once you start writing out your ‘dream routine’ and the things you’ll do every weekday, you’ll get yourself into the swing of things and be able to work for the next six months on your goals.
Next Month – Level Up
If you want to make the next six months of the year count, don’t forget to add on the fun stuff like travel, spend more time with your family, or go home for a weekend. Don’t hesitate or make excuses. Your life matters!
That’s all you have to do if you want to make the next six months of the year count. Do your best, and live your dreams.
One of the best ways to step up your goals is to share them. What are your goals for the next six months? Leave a comment; I would love to hear what youβre planning.
Sending positive vibes! π
