Stash or Trash? Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser review

Good morning!

On my recent trip to Europe, I packed the Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser to prevent the common breakouts I get when traveling.

I purchased this product because I wanted to try a different acne-fighting cleanser.

The product claims:

Salicylic acid acne treatment. Invigorates and cools as it removes over 99% of dirt and oil that can cause blemishes.

Helps defend against blemishes before they start with a blemish formula containing salicylic acid. This refreshing liquid cleanser targets and removes dirt and oil that can cause blemishes, leaving you with clear skin.

Oil-Free

Dermatologist Tested

Gentle enough for everyday use

How it Works:

The formula, with an active blemish-fighting ingredient salicylic acid, helps stop blemishes and clear up blackheads

Gentle enough for everyday use, effectively control blemishes and prevent future breakouts with this daily cleanser

I used the cleanser daily twice a day as directed, but my skin broke out in the worst rash, plus it stung my face. I am still dealing with all the post acne scars by applying Retin A at night. I have olive skin and I scar easily. Unfortunately, this product is a ”trash” item, which I cannot recommend if you have sensitive skin. The so-called ice cooling not only irritated my skin but caused more breakouts. In addition, after I cleansed my face it felt stiff.

As of now, I am using Garnier Skin Active The Gentle Sulfate-Free Cleanser $8.97 Walmart.

It has cleaned up the mess the Biore Blemish Fighting Cleanser left behind. The Garnier Cleanser has been my go face wash since September of last year. Its sulfate-free, alcohol-free, fragrance-free, paraben-free, oil-free and soap-free. It gently removes makeup, dirt, and grime seamlessly leaving my face very well hydrated.

I know, that’s why I did the post. Maybe the ingredients were too aggressive for my face. 😐

I love that the garner one is sulfate free. My current favorite cleanser isn’t so I’m in search for another one as good as the one I’m currently using

So there are so many good ones. However, these two have been getting great reviews: Skinfood Egg White Perfect Pore Cleansing foam and Neutrogena hydro boost cleanser. xx
