2018 Pro Approved New Beauty Drug Store Products Under $20.00, Part II

How was everyone’s weekend?

The polar conditions continue here in New York as we are hitting frigid single digits after 4 pm, burr.

Lucky for me, I can experiment and play with these products to give you some insights as well as save you some hard earned dollars.

As promised, here is part II of 2018 Pro Approved New Beauty Drug Store Products:

L’Oreal Paris Pure-Sugar Scrub (Target $9.99)

This product is skin food at it’s best to unclog pores as well as slough away dry skin cells. It’s a great exfoliator/scrub in that it softens and hydrates without irritating even sensitive skin. You can also use it on your lips. This scrub is not good if you do not like a citrus smell. Be sure to wet your fingers otherwise it will feel like sandpaper.

Lumene Valo Overnight Bright Sculpting Cream (Lumene.com $19.99)

450

Hydrate while you sleep with this moisture-boosting overnight cream. The lotion contains Arctic Cloudberry, a rich source of Vitamin C to help brighten and re-energize skin as well as pure Arctic Spring Water to hydrate skin while you snooze. According to Emily Retkis, contributing writer for Racked its a less expensive alternative than $500.00 Clé de Peau’s La Creme.

Thank you, Zhanna for introducing me to this overnight dream cream.

Pond’s Hydrating Sheet Masks (to be released later this month online)

These supersoft eucalyptus-derived fiber sheets hydrate instantly to reveal an Insta worthy glow to your skin. It has an exfoliating cocktail of papaya extract, plus nourishing vitamins B3 and E; then it firms up your face because it is jam-packed with heavy-hitting hydrators (hyaluronic acid, collagen, and agave extract) to moisturize and plump-up skin.

Aveeno Positively Radiant Exfoliating Body Wash (Walmart $7.82)

This is a gentle body exfoliator with a faint scent. If you suffer from back and chest breakouts, this will help. The mix of soy, walnut-shell flour replenishes dull, dry skin without stripping away your body’s natural oils. Tip: Daily exfoliating assists in toning your skin’s texture.

La Roche-Posay Lipikar Balm AP + Intense Repair Moisturizing Cream (Ulta $19.99)

IMG_3918

This body cream is excellent for eczema sufferers. It has probiotic thermal water, which assists in rebalancing your own skin’s bacteria, moisturizing agents that naturally attract water to the skin, in addition to shea butter, glycerin, niacinamide, and vitamin B3.

Live Clean Baby Gentle Moisture Non-Petroleum Jelly (Amazon $13.95)

IMG_3920

Just because it’s labeled, “baby” does not mean you cannot use it to relieve rough, dry patches like lips, elbows, knees, and feet. It’s has 100% natural, sustainable sourced ingredients: castor oil, cera alba, and tocopherol. No mineral oil. No fragrance. No weird and shady chemical based yukies.

Sending beauty vibes!  💋

The overnight cream is equally as good as the $500.00 cream. I cannot believe how much these companies charge us women. Happy there is a cheaper alternative. 🙏🏼 You can get it. 🤗
