How to pack a carry-on like a boss

Happy Monday!

Hope you all had an awesome weekend!

Since we are in full swing of Spring, and we begin to look forward to travels, we often want to take our luggage as a carry-on instead of paying the annoying baggage fee.

Here are some tips on avoiding the overpacking scenario so that you can pack like a boss:

Limit the shoes

Shoes are the number one culprit of taking up space. I used to pack two sneakers, one for working out and another cute pair for walking. Now, I just pack one pair for the entire trip. For nighttime dress up always pack a pair of nude heels. Not only will they make you appear taller in your photos, but they match with everything.

Invest in a duplicate toiletry bag

Things like make-up and make-up brushes, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, hair ties, body/face wash, whatever your essentials are. Invest in a travel set, and store it in your suitcase.

Pack for each day

Before a thread goes into my Rimowa, I lay out each outfit for day time and night time according to each day. Knowing what you’re going to wear for that week for events in the day will eliminate the stress of not being prepared, and will save you space.

Travel wallet

Invest in a travel wallet. This way you can keep your boarding pass, cash, and itineraries organized instead of having them all floating around in your tote bag.

Color scheme your clothing

I used to be such a spaz to pack, but then I discovered color scheming. Pick a color scheme—This way it will be easier for you to cross-pollinate outfits.

Wherever your wanderlust soul takes you be sure to be present and savor each moment.
