About a year ago, the website PrimeMind defined the term: “To be zombied is to have someone you care about disappear from your life altogether only to have them bring a relationship back from the dead with an out-of-the-blue text or interaction on social media.”
Zombie-ing can be as a simple as an ex who disappeared liking something on your Facebook or Instagram, then showing up on LinkedIn wanting you to refer him/her for a new job opportunity. Worst yet, they can show up in person at a social event they know you will attend. This person from your past rises from the metaphorical dead and wants back in your life. HOW?
Even more worrisom, the person does not apologize for their Houdini disappearing act. They behave as if all in the world is good sprinkled with unicorns and rainbows. No integrity, or character, so ruude. The entitlement of these people is beyond comprehension.
If you find yourself in this situation I am sure you are smart enough to know that this is not a person that values your soul.
