During summer, your skin gets beaten by the harsh sun and the constant use of SPF application.
To keep my skin soft, PH balanced, and to avoid breakouts on my back; I decided to use Senteurs d’Orient Soaps.
Senteurs d’Orient Soaps is a female-owned natural care brand inspired by the bathing rituals of the Orient. Each bar of soap is pure vegetal that is handcrafted by local artisans in Lebanon, and it’s air-dried for ten days.
Senteurs d’Orient uses a blend of precious essential oils along with moisturizing Olive oil, Vitamin E, Shea butter, and Glycerin for beautiful, dewy skin. It will leave you with a relaxed spirit that is sure to put you in a great mood any time of the day.
Almond Exfoliant Bar Soap $21.00

Upon using this soap, your skin is being exfoliated gently without stripping away any of its natural oils. As you move it across your body it suds up lusciously. Primarily if you use a pouf while it emanates a faint aroma of almonds and herbs, it left my skin feeling nourished and hydrated.
Orange Blossom Hamman Soap on a Rope $36.00

It’s ultra foamy lather begins upon a couple of rubs. This soap is by far the most ultra-moisturizing and hydrating I have ever used. It beats L’Occitane and Claus de Porto soaps. It cleanses your skin thoroughly, rinses cleanly and quickly without leaving your skin feeling dry. It’s a larger bar than usual but still fits in hand. The soap was inspired by the traditional Lebanese “White Coffee,” which mixes soft floral, sweet, and a woody core. It was — created with a blend of Eucalyptus, Orange, and Copaiba essential oils that are fragrant. It will leave your entire bathroom smelling amazing. You can also use it as an air freshener. I hung mine in my closet where I keep my laundry. Whenever I open the door, it smells exquisite.
Jasmine of Arabia Ma’amoul Soap $13.00

The wrapped soap is almost too pretty to use. It lathers beautifully and cleanses hands without stripping moisture. The faint Jasmine of Arabia luxurious scent is very pleasing and refreshing. It rinses thoroughly yet leaving your hands “squeaky clean.” It’s such a beautiful decorative soap to keep in your guest bathroom or to give as a gift.
I have been using these soaps daily for over a month, and they are tremendously long-lasting, which is a considerable saving.
I also love that the company contributes to women’s education.
I highly recommend these soaps, especially if you have sensitive skin, or are prone to back and chest breakouts.
All of the soaps are parabens free, no colorants, no silicones, no titanium dioxide, no EDTA, no tallow. These soaps are vegan and cruelty-free. How awesome is that?
