Happy Summer!
I am back after an extended vacation in Greece!
We visited Paros, Mykonos, and Santorini.
Our first stop was Paros. Paros itself is said to have been founded by St. Helen, Emperor Constantine’s mother, on her pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Paros is only 13 miles long and 10 miles wide, it is rich with ancient history, thriving towns and postcard-worthy harbors. The eastern edge boasts the island’s best beaches; to the north, the bustling town of Naoussa; in the center of the island is the ancient city of Lefkes.
We rented a villa with the family for our stay.
On our first day we went to Santa Maria Beach Club
The next day we took an island adventure on the Aegean Sea. The Aegean Sea laps gently along the sandy shore. It is aquamarine in Technicolor — warm, glittering and crystal clear right down to its rippled floor. These pictures were taken with a drone, which climbed up to 350 feet.
We rented this sail boat for the day, which was special because it was a father and daughter team. They cooked for us and took us around the island.
On another day of our trip we visited Golden Beach to soak up the sun and watch the soccer game.
This is a great shallow beach for swimming.
Dinner at Bianco (formerly known as Bluefish) was delicious. Every fish plate was fresh and yummy.
On our last day we ate at Mario’s Restaurant in Naoussa
The Loukoumades dessert was so outrageously good, I ended up eating them two days in a row from a bakery around the corner from the restaurant.

Thank you! I was only in Mykonos for the day, but it was festive. Next week I am doing Santorini. It was like walking into a postcard. It’s a place where a woman says “I do” 😜 xx

Go into Expedia to find a reputable boating company. My fiancé’s cousins booked the sail boat, so I don’t have a direct contact. xx
