Why celebrating big or small victories is a game changer

The harshest bully is our inner voice. We create false narratives in our head that we give power to when times get tough.

However, if you practice kindness, compassion, self-love and celebrate the big, or small victories you can rewire your brain into a positive one so that you can celebrate the bigger achievements.

Take a minute daily to celebrate clearing out your email from your inbox, even if you have several to go. It will remind you that you are accomplishing your tasks, which feels darn good.

Progress on our goals makes us feel happier and more satisfied with life,” writes Dr. Timothy A. Pychyl.

Build confidence by remembering past victories

When you reflect on past victories, it helps you build the inner warrior in you. It reminds you that you can do hard things.

Grateful list

Write down at least ethree things that you are grateful for that day. As you go through your day, take note of the things you enjoy and appreciate.  Scan your environment and look for the good this will also help you attract more good back to you.  Give yourself a chance to cultivate gratitude and celebrate the little things you usually take for granted.

As you practice on yourself, you will eventually become a better leader to motivate your team. The most successful and popular bosses tend to celebrate every victory, no matter the size.

Rejoice and praise yourself daily because it builds self-esteem. Self-esteem fuels incentive. Start with baby steps and work up to more significant victories.

Hope this helps some of you.

Sending loving vibes! 💋
