Can lingerie really turn a man on?

Valentine’s is briskly approaching, so you know I will be posting all things love!

When a woman puts on lingerie, it ups your “love game” with your boo. It really turns a man on when you decide to wear lingerie because it sends a signal to the male brain that you are open to sensuality and seduction, which will lead to knocking the boots under the sheets.

In a recent study released November 2014 by scientists at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, virgin male rats were more attracted to female rats donning tiny jackets than those that were “au naturel.” In an article entitled “Why Men Love Lingerie: Rat Study Offers Hints,” the male rats determined that “ ‘each time my partner wears lingerie [a jacket], I’m going to have sex,’” says study co-author Gonzalo R. Quintana Zunino, a psychologist working in the lab of psychologist Jim Pfaus at Concordia University in Montreal.

Another reason why men get turned on by lingerie is that it expresses to them that you are doing this act to please them because you desire them and let’s face it men are visual creatures and want to feel desired.

Even more of a turn on is when you wear it under your clothes. (Such a chore to put it on in the bathroom when a man is laying in bed waiting for you) Men feel that they are unwrapping a beautiful gift. It’s the mystery and spontaneity that provokes more of the testosterone adrenaline rush, which makes your shagging even more intense.

Think of it like this: If someone gave you a piece of chicken on your plate and nothing else, it would still presumably taste just as good. However, if the same chicken was served with a little garnish of asparagus, some creamy broccoli, and sautéed mushrooms with caramelized onions mixed in. The chicken would be precisely the same, but the other accouterments give it pizzaz.

Just be cautious not to wear the scratchy type of lingerie because it’s a buzz kill!
