What is the Liebster Award?

The Liebster Award 2017 is an award that exists only on the internet, and is given to bloggers by other bloggers. The earliest case of the award goes as far back as 2011. Liebster in German means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome.

ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS

1. How long do you blog and what motivated you to take this step?  I began blogging seven months ago.  I was motivated by my trips to Silicon Valley with my fiancé.  I always wanted to write, and I got the idea while sitting at a cafe watching other techies read blogs.
2. Have you presented the blogging so or were there things that have surprised you?  FYI – Tabs blog is in German and I hit Google translate to give me the English version and this is what I got, so I will respond as best as I can to this question.  Blogging has surprised me in a positive way.  Most of the bloggers are tremendously supportive and kind.
3. Are you trying to achieve specific goals with your blog? Yes, I would like to turn this blog into a Refinery 29 style blog (online magazine) where new bloggers have an opportunity to have their work published.
4. Has blogging changed your personal life? Yes, my priorities changed as well as time management.  I now read a ton of blogs daily, research, then blog.  Therefore, my days are packed with all things blogging with a sprinkle of social living.
5. What is your personal conclusion to 2017?  I have learned to respect time and use it wisely.
6. What dreams you try to implement in your life?  Nature and all its glory.  I love to walk and look at the trees, buildings, people, and art displays around the city.  I am a visual person, so walking allows me to dream and it gives my hyperactive mind time to relax.
7. What dreams you have already achieved?  Being a mom, an ex wife 😜 and surviving life in New York.
8. Dog or cat, and why?  Both!  I grew up with two German Sheppard’s.  As a young adult, I got two cats and it changed my life.  I love all animals, but cats, are my fav.
9. What would be your dream job?  Owning an affordable all natural skin care brand.
10. If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be? Patience, I am working on it through daily meditation.
