HOW MY BLOG STARTED:
For many years I was keeping lists for beauty, travel, psychology sessions, restaurants, relationship, and dating advice from my mentors. Everyone was always asking me to share my list on a blog, I kept hearing it for years. Then I began traveling to Silicon Valley with my fiancé and noticed many people sitting in cafe’s reading blogs, so that’s how I got inspired to write this blog. My purpose is to be of service to you all.
ADVICE FOR NEW BLOGGERS:
- I am new, so I am still learning. However, I like to plan a couple of days out to post. I may get a burst of inspiration on any given hour, or during a chat with a girlfriend. I am not a weekly planner because I want to keep content fresh and time-worthy.
- Blog with your heart not with your mind. Beating yourself up about commas, semi colon’s is a distraction. You can always go back and edit.
- Respond to comments in a timely manner. People take the time to read your blog, so it’s nice when someone is acknowledged. People may not remember exactly what you did, or what you said, but they will always remember how you made them feel – H. Jackson Brown, Jr. to Maya Angelou.
