Another dating trend alert – Stashing

You know how I love keeping you in the loop of all the dating trends, so here’s another term to add to your ongoing list of dating calamities, Stashing.

Stashing is a term to define a man or a woman who never introduces you to their friends, family, dog, cat, or ferret. You don’t exist in any of his social media accounts. They haven’t once shared anything that remotely suggests you’re an item.

The reason for all this secret agent secrecy on their part is that you’re probably not the only person they’re dating, or worst yet the person could be married.

Over time this could eat at your self-worth and self-esteem.

The best way to handle such an unfortunate situation is to confront the Stasher and ask why all the shadiness.

Once you are with the right person, they want to shout it out that you exist in their life from atop of a mountain. They want to show you off because you are a showstopper!

I say “no one puts baby in the corner!”

Sending love vibes from atop of a building!

I ones was in the same position. I was dating long distance. After months, I started to question why he did not introduce me to his friends. Further, I didn’t even know when the guy lived. Hence, I began to pressure my “boyfriend” because I didn’t even know where he lived. He kept making excuses about introducing me to his friends, etc. Worse, the guy told his mom that I was from the U.S. and that I lived in his city. He finally let me visit him, and I saw where he lived. The energy vampire introduced to his friends in a way that didn’t feel right to me. Like we were friends or something like that. The guy wasn’t married, but had his hidden agenda. He pretended to be “my boyfriend.” Long history short, thank god he is history. Always trust your guts!
