Overnight masks for fall

Sweater weather is here, and that means our skin care routine has to change as well as our clothes.

Toasty indoor environments can deprive your complexion of moisture and wreak havoc on your skin.

Humidity levels tend to drop off in the autumn and winter months. The drier the air, the more moisture it sucks from your skin, so you’re more likely to experience dryness and flakiness during the colder months of the year, especially if you’re prone to eczema or other dry skin conditions.

Let’s amp up your skincare routine so you can have a richer, more youthful glow for autumn/winter skin with these tried and tested overnight masks:

SD_LAHDE_HYDRATION_RECOVERY_0

Lumene $21.99

On a recent trip to Rite Aide, I stumbled upon this gem of a mask. The product is from Finland, which is a chilly place, so I thought if its good for the Finnish ladies it’s good enough for us in the Northeast. I applied it after my moisturizer at night. The next morning, my face felt hydrated bursting with a glow. It’s lightweight. Only use a small bit as a little goes a long way.

Cilantro & Orange Extract Defending_Masque75ml_sRGB_r1a

Kiehls Cilantro & Orange Extract Pollutant Defending Mask $39.00

Love this mask! I have been using it for a year. It’s super creamy. I put it on before bed. The instructions on the bottle state to apply then lightly remove some of the product, but I slather it on without wiping off an inch. After using the mask for three days out of the week, I broke out less. This mask leaves your skin feeling so smooth in the am. It’s great for dry winter days.

Ultra_Facial_Overnight_Hydrating_Masque_3605970494407_4.2oz.

Kiehls Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrating Mask $35.00

This mask puts the “H” in hydrating. The results are unparalleled to any overnight mask I have used in the past. The proteins and other natural ingredients work on sensitive skin, giving you a radiant face by morning. It works together with a daily moisturizer to amplify the benefits already happening. Plus, it’ll never leave you feeling greasy.
